MSMF 2026 TEACHING ASSISTANTSHIP APPLICATION

MSMF 2026 Teaching Assistantship Application

TA-ships are available for HALF-DAY programs only. Full-day program students will not be eligible for a TA-ship due to scheduling conflicts.

TA Expectations

The following are the responsibilities and expectations for the TA-ship:

  • Creating and leading musical activities for students ages 11 and younger (for up to 5 hours throughout the festival week)

  • Chaperoning workshops and/or the masterclass

  • Rehearsing and performing with a student ensemble in the 18+ program

  • Availability from 9:15am–3:50pm every day of the festival (June 22–26). You will be expected to rehearse with your group in either the morning or afternoon portion of the festival, and you will be expected to lead musical activities for younger students in the remaining portion of the day

You will be expected to be punctual for every aspect of the festival in addition to being a reliable and hard-working student. Failure to meet any or all of these expectations will result in the TA-ship being withdrawn and full payment of the program tuition being due no later than June 26th.
